The media specialists and media aide at Cherokee assist teachers and students with their academic information needs. The media specialists are responsible for keeping all students and faculty abreast of the latest print, nonprint, and electronic information sources in the media center. Additionally, the media specialists collaborate with teachers in identifying media resources that will help them meet their class objectives.  Moreover, the media specialists provide students with research strategies that will enable them to locate, access and evaluate information in resources within and beyond the walls of Cherokee.
